That's the problem, if Dutch muslims don't want to adopt Dutch values why should they be allowed in the country? If Canadian muslims don't want to adopt Canadian values why should they be allowed in the country? That applies to all immigrants of any country, if you're not ready to adopt the values of the country you immigrate to, then don't move there, it's plain and simple.
If someone from Canada immigrated to the UAE and kissed in public and were not ready to accept the backwards Islamic laws of the country they moved to, which calls for them to be jailed for such actions, then they shouldn't move there.

It's not just that, the muslims in Europe are extreme, especially in the Netherlands. Remember the Dutch filmmaker, Van Gogh, that got murdered in the streets for making a film that exposes the violence against women in Islam? How did the muslims react to try to dispel that portrayal of Islam? The only way they know how, by violence.
Imagine if Dutch immigrants moved to Saudi Arabia and tried to keep their women uncovered in a *gasp* t-shirt. They'd be jailed, and stoned to death. I know it is convenient, but you can't compare Saudi Arabia to European countries. European nations are secular and they "claim" to be multicultural and embrace immigrants. Saudi Arabia doesn't claim any of that.
Also...the Van Gogh incident. You have to look at the fact that he has publically called muslims "pigs" and other names (In his defence, he did not limit his bashing to just muslims, jews and others were targeted). they wanted a tribunal that would deal with matters such as inheritance and family disputes. both parties would have to be willing. don't make it sound like they were trying to change the law and stone people. the canadian law would supersede and you very well know this.

Having a Masters degree is pretty useless, unless you get an MBA.
I'd like to see the stats on how many professionals there are by ethnic/religious group. How many doctors, dentists, lawyers, stock brokers etc., the ones who actually make money.
